What is a virtual hangout room?
It is a shared online space where a group can spend time together in real time. RoomRush combines room presence and chat with activities like watching videos, listening to music, drawing, notes, polls, and planning tools.
How many friends can join RoomRush?
Each room has eight seats total. Share its invite link with the people you want to join.
Do I need to download anything?
RoomRush runs in a web browser. Open the site to start a room or follow an invite link to join one.
Does RoomRush turn on the camera when I join?
No. Camera, microphone, and screen sharing are optional. RoomRush asks for browser permission only when you choose one of those features.
Can I save a room for later?
Accounts are optional. Sign in to save rooms and return to them. You can also open and join rooms without signing in.
Are rooms recorded?
RoomRush does not intentionally record voice calls or screen shares. Read the Privacy Policy for details about room state and data.
